How do injectable fillers rejuvenate your appearance?

What is Juvéderm®?

Juvéderm is the brand name of a group of injectable fillers that contain hyaluronic acid. Your skin naturally produces hyaluronic acid to retain moisture and add fullness.

Each Juvéderm product targets different problem areas:  

  • Juvéderm Vollure™ XC: Corrects moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds
  • Juvéderm Volbella® XC: Augments lips and diminishes vertical lip lines
  • Juvéderm® XC: Diminishes parentheses lines or smile lines around nose and mouth

What is Restylane®?

Restylane is also a family of injectable fillers that contain hyaluronic acid. Each product is formulated to act like your body’s hyaluronic acid and has a specific purpose:

  • Restylane® Silk: Used for subtle lip augmentation of to smooth wrinkles around the mouth
  • Restylane® Lyft: Augments cheeks, restores midface volume, and treats facial folds
  • Restylane® Refyne: Smooths marionette lines and nasolabial folds

What is Radiesse®?

Radiesse consists of tiny spheres of calcium mixed into a smooth gel. After Dr. Long injects Radiesse, the microspheres add volume and stimulate collagen production. Radiesse diminishes the following:

  • Marionette lines
  • Jowl lines
  • Wrinkles at the corners of your mouth
  • Wrinkles on your chin

What is Sculptra® Aesthetic?

Sculptra Aesthetic contains injectable poly-L-actic acid, which stimulates collagen production. Collagen is responsible for strength and structure in your skin, yet you lose about 1% of collagen per year after the age of 18. As Sculptra Aesthetic promotes collagen synthesis, it helps replace volume lost due to aging.

What is Bellafill®?

Bellafill combines two ingredients – a collagen gel base and tiny polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) spheres. The collagen provides volume, while the PMMA microspheres support the development of new collagen. Dr. Long uses Bellafill to correct nasolabial folds (smile lines) and to diminish the appearance of acne scars.
